Diet pills have received a bad rap over the last few years, but do they deserve this bad rap? When people hear the word diet pill the first thing that comes to mind is Fen-phen. Another thought that comes to mind is Ephedra. Unfortunately these two cases left a bad taste in peoples mouth concerning diet pills, but should all diet pills receive a bad mark because of this. There are several diet pills and supplements, especially new ones coming out that contain extracts of important nutrients and compounds that can really be beneficial to the human body.

These new diet pills should not be be looked at with the same frame of mind as the ones that gave the industry a bad name in the past. The most recent diet pills in the industry contain ingredients that are not only healthy for the body but also have case studies determining the safety of ingredients. Diet pills now contain formulas that work to assist the body in several different ways such as by increasing muscle mass, along with increasing fat loss. Several of the new diet pills provide fiber, vitamins, minerals, and protein and also help with reducing fat uptake, and cholesterol. Research has also shown that certain ingredients found in newer diet pills can help reduce blood sugar levels in the body. Include that with all of the other benefits that you can receive from a supplement and you get some amazing results.

When trying to determine what type of diet pill you should take consider what you want to get out of the diet pill. You should also conduct research on the ingredients contained in the product. If you have high blood pressure be weary of products that contain high levels of stimulants such as caffeine or green tea. Always talk with your doctor before starting a diet pill to help determine if it is safe and look at consumer reviews from a public blog to see what type of side effects people have had while taking the product. Not all diet pills are bad but not all diet pills are safe, so make sure to do your homework.

L-Leucine PrimaForce is popular supplement company that makes a number of different products to help increase muscle mass and help you lose weight. PrimaForce L-Leucine contains 500 grams of Leucine. Just like many other companies that sell Leucine, PrimaForce claims that their product will help support protein synthesis, lean mass gains, and enhance recovery. As you may know L-Leucine is one of the three branched chain amino acids and is known as the anabolic trigger because of its ability to support protein synthesis. PrimaForce recomends taking 5 grams per serving both before and after workout. This is a high dose of Leucine but no side effects have been reported from taking this amount. Some people consume up to 20 grams a day. Whether or not taking over 3 grams a day will continue to be beneficial is questionable.

PrimaForce L-Leucine Ingredients

L-Leucine: 5 grams per serving.

Container holds 500 grams.

Servings Per Container 100.

PrimaForce L-Leucine Cost

On average one container will cost you $22.99

Final Words

PrimaForce L-Leucine gives you what you asked for and that lots of Leucine. This product contains a lot of Leucine at a fairly good price. The company also seems to be reliable and has fairly good customer service. The only thing I would have changed about this product would be to add some other ingredients to their product. Also, 5 grams per serving seem to be a little much. I would work your way up to that amount. All in all this may be a good product for you if you are looking into Leucine in its pure powder form. Good luck getting ripped.

Nimbus Nutrition has come out with a new product that contains Leucine in the powder form. As with many other Leucine based products Nimbus Nutrition states their product will promote muscle recovery and tissue growth, supports anabolic effects, and stimulates protein synthesis. Nimbus Nutrition Leucine comes in a container that holds 500 grams. This product contains 3 grams of Leucine per serving, which is a pretty good amount. Whether or not that much Leucine will produce better results is still debatable, but several lifters insist on taking at least that much a day. Nimbus Nutrition seems to get its Leucine from a reliable source so there should not be any concern about the effectiveness of this product.

Performance Leucine Ingredients

Leucine: 3 grams per serving.

Container holds 500 grams.

Servings per container 166.

Performance Leucine Price

One bag will cost you $25.99

Final Words

This product is one of the higher end products that sell Leucine. The cost of this product is better than most when compairing quantity. Performance Leucine should produce just as good of results as any other product selling Leucine by itself. I would recommend taking a couple of other ingredients to help increase the effects of Leucine such as L-Valine and L-Isoleucine.

AllMax as with many other companies try and play the high quality card. With some supplements this may be true but with Leucine I believe that most companies get their product from the same source. AllMax claims that their product will stimulate protein synthesis, preserve lean muscle mass, and promote muscle revovery. For people who are looking to only take L-Leucine this may be the product for you. This product contains only Leucine in the powder form

AllMax Nutrition Leucine Ingredients

Leucine 5 grams per serving. 400 grams per container

AllMax Nutrition Cost

AllMax Leucine will cost about $23.99 a container

Final Words

AllMax Nutrition Leucine is not all that bad of a deal. If you are looking to just supplement with Leucine and don’t mind taking it in the powder form this may be the product that you want to get. The price for this product in competetive and I have not heard any bad things about this company. The only problem that I see with this product is that it does not contain any other ingredients to help increase the effects of leucine.

Optimum BCAA Caps are said to contain a potent balance of branched chain amino acids, which are building blocks of muscle mass and size. BCAAs are also said to be able to improve nitrogen retention. BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids. The makers of BCAA Optimum Caps claim that this amino acid structure helps to prevent muscle breakdown and help increase muscle building. Whether or not their claims are acurate is still up in the air.

BCAA 1000 Caps Ingredients

L-leucine 500mg, L-Isoleucine 250mg, L-Valine 250mg, Gelatin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, and Magnesium Stearate.

Cost of Optimum BCAA 1000 Caps

You can find Optimum BCAA 1000 Caps for around $13.00 for 200 capsules.

Final Words On Optimum BCAA

Optimum BCAA is a good source of L-Leucine for people that would rather take L-Leucine in the capsule form. Optimum BCAA Caps also contain L-Isoleucine and L-Valine which can be useful to take in with L-leucine. I would say this product would be one of the higher end products containing L-Leucine, but there are other products out there that I would say contain better mixes.

L-Leucine has become a popular supplement for bodybuilders and people looking to tone their bodies. L-Leucine is an essential amino acid and cannot be made in the body, it must be obtained in your diet or through supplementation. Source Naturals is among a large number of supplement companies that makes L-Leucine. Most L-Leucine products contain about the same quality of L-Leucine but some products may contain other ingredients.

Ingredients in Source Naturals L-Leucine

L-Leucine, Gelatin, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, and Vegatable Magnesium Stearate

Cost of Source Naturals L-Lecucine

Source Naturals is going to cost you $9.95 for 500mg.

Thoughts on Source Naturals L-Leucine

Source Naturals L-Leucine may be a good product for people who would rather take L-Leucine in the pill form rather than having to take it in the powder form. This product is a little more expensive compared to other forms. You can usually get L-Leucine in the powder form for a little cheaper. This product may be a good source to help supplement your Leucine levels, but if you don’t like taking pills I wouldn’t recommend it. This product also does not contain L-Valine which can be a helpful ingredient to add when taking L-Leucine. You may want to think about takin L-valine and L-Isoleucine with this product to get optimal results.
